Frequently asked questions

  • How do I delete my account?

    Open Settings inside the app and tap Delete account. All your data is purged from Postgres within 24 hours. You can also email privacy@madreiga.app from your registered email and we'll process the deletion manually.

  • Why don't I see all the mitzvot?

    Mitzvot are filtered by your registered gender. Male users see male-obligated and shared mitzvot; female users see female-obligated and shared. Adjust your gender via Settings -> Contact support.

  • Why are zmanim wrong for my city?

    Set your city or coordinates in Settings -> Zone. If wrong by more than a few minutes, your timezone offset may be off; reach out and include your city + zip code.

  • Pro upgrade didn't activate after payment.

    Pull to refresh on the Settings screen. If still not active after 5 minutes, email support@madreiga.app with your Stripe receipt and we'll fix it within a business day.

  • How do I cancel Pro?

    Settings -> Manage subscription opens the Stripe billing portal. Your Pro stays active until the end of the current billing period; we don't prorate refunds for unused time.

  • Push notifications aren't arriving.

    Check OS-level permissions for Madreiga. On iOS: Settings -> Madreiga -> Notifications. On Android: Settings -> Apps -> Madreiga -> Notifications. Inside the app, Notifications screen lets you toggle each reminder kind.
