What this is

Daily Torah Learning

Short selections from Tanakh, Mishnah, halacha, and mussar, organized to support a regular learning practice.

A daily seder does not need to be long or identical every day. You can study one source, follow an established cycle, or build a plan suited to your time and background.

Madreiga gathers daily sources and links each learning unit back to its text. Established cycles such as Daf Yomi appear alongside other suggestions rather than being treated as the same program.

Missing a day does not require abandoning the plan. Continue with the current unit or return to a saved source; the useful habit is returning to study.

Frequently asked questions

How much time should daily learning take?

There is no single length. A short source may fit a few minutes, while a chapter or sugya needs longer. Choose a unit you can read carefully and return to consistently.

What happens if I miss a day?

You can continue with the current day or return to the previous source. For a fixed cycle, check that cycle's schedule; a personal plan can be adjusted.

Is Madreiga's daily learning the same as Daf Yomi?

No. Daf Yomi is a defined cycle of one daf of Babylonian Talmud each day. Madreiga can present that cycle alongside other daily sources, but the programs remain distinct.

Which languages are available?

The interface is available in Hebrew and English. Translation and commentary availability depends on the source and edition.
